fml-asm software package provides tool for assembling Illumina short reads in small regions, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fml-asm
fml-asm is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fml-asm package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fml-asm *
You will get with fml-asm package name, version, architecture and description in a table
